Prescribing dynamic planning master data based on event data

This customer was on a big planning transformation journey, aiming for one global organization, a global process and ultimately frictionless planning. One of their main challenges was the lack on E2E visibility over their supply chain network.

• They defined their most ‘planning sensitive parameters’, such as the transport lead times, quality release times, capacities, scrap rates, etc. These parameters have a high impact on planning accuracy, and thus key to keep continuously synced with reality.
• Using Axon’s advanced analytics, planning parameters are prescribed on a continuous basis based on actual product batch data. These parameters are compared with the current planning master data, and updates are proposed in an exception based way. This enables planners to have continuously accurate data, while minimizing the manual effort to maintain this.
