We’re bluecrux. Pleased to meet you!

Founded in 2011, Bluecrux is a value chain consulting and technology company. Our experts and software solutions help to transform today’s supply chains into smart, efficient, and fully integrated value chains. We believe that only true collaboration leads to innovation, by converging at the intersection of our knowledge and our customers’ ambition and linking expertise with technology and problems with solutions.

We’re a community, a movement that’s built at this intersection, which we call “the Cutting X”: it’s where supply chains evolve and value chains are forged.

Our international
SaaS
scale-up
product Binocs helps teams to ‘Nail their operational performance’. With an AI scheduling co-bot, “what-if” based scenario planning, actionable analytics and zero-code integrations, we’re pushing the boundaries in resource planning for QC labs, R&D labs and Cell Gene Therapy. Our customers expect a second to none bug-free user experience. That’s why we need a skilled QA Engineer like you.

What will you do day-to-day?

We see quality assurance not as having long books of test plans and processes, we prefer to spend our time focussing on understanding how we provide value to users, finding out what can go wrong, what the impact is and preventing this to happen (agile testing).

Analysis: User focus, business understanding & risk assessment

  • You will be collaborating in one or multiple agile squads (1-3 engineers, product owner, QA engineer) that work on a feature.
  • Before we start building a new feature, identify what acceptance criteria and test cases (‘scenarios’) are needed.
  • Asking the right questions in the squad. What can go wrong? What are the unknowns? How will the customer use it?
  • Deciding in the squad how and by who the scenarios will be tested (unit tests, End-2-End tests, etc.).
  • Be the bridge between customer support and engineering.

Automating E2E tests

  • Build or adapt the scripts to perform E2E testing (Selenium, C#) of the feature.
  • Preparation of data for the E2E tests.
  • Besides writing E2E tests, you can still do exploratory testing to understand how a feature is used by users or to follow your intuition.

Regressions

  • Help replicate production issues and create bugs.
  • Create and maintain the regression tests in our test management tool.
  • Follow up on a daily basis on the automated regression testing.
