Group Services Operations Manager

About the role 

We are expanding our Group Services team with a Group Services Operations Manager to continue building our growth vision and secure our global expansion. The Group Services Operations Manager will ensure a smooth continuation and further professionalization of our current global cross-functional internal and external support; in areas from ICT and facilities to quality and compliance, focusing on continuous improvement and operational resilience.

This role will also partner cross-functionally to support finance, HR, and legal teams in procurement, subsidy screening and contract management leading initiatives to restructure and improve them.

You’ll coach 5 direct reports, guaranteeing operational governance, escalating their operational issues where needed, and being their sounding board.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Contract Management

  • Develop and manage procurement strategies for strategic and operational needs, working closely with Finance to optimize supplier relationships and cost efficiency.
  • Roll out and oversee contract management processes, covering sub-contractors, software licenses, and other critical agreements, ensuring compliance and seamless records management and – renewals.
  • Collaborate with Finance on annual subsidy screening and utilization, leveraging available resources to support business growth.

Governance, Compliance & CSR

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards (ISO 27001 certification), including ISMS, GDPR, and other industry requirements, embedding a quality and compliance mindset across the organization.
  • Responsible for CSR and ESH initiatives, promoting a culture of responsibility, safety, and sustainability throughout the organization.

IT Infrastructure & Support

  • Strategize the IT landscape covering the organization’s global IT infrastructure, including software, hardware, and digital tool management, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable systems.
  • Promote digital advocacy and translate new trends and industry best practices into a roadmap towards efficient tool management to empower all teams with reliable, user-friendly systems.

Operational efficiency & facilities

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline internal processes, enhance productivity, and improve cross-functional workflows.
  • Manage current ( and future) global facilities (office and fleet) and asset tracking. Providing as such a safe, efficient, and sustainable work environment for all employees.
  • Oversee expense and travel management tools (e.g., Rydoo, TravelPerk) to ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with organizational policies.

Customer Support

  • Give managerial and project support for the rollout of our external customer Support organization focusing on our SaaS solutions.
  • Oversee service desk functions, optimizing support systems and feedback channels to improve user satisfaction. #LI-JC1

Your profile

  • 8-10 years of operational leadership experience, preferably within tech or service industries. You have experience in procurement and have touched upon broader operations domains such as IT, Office and compliance.
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical skills: you can demonstrate strong foundations in procurement and partnership management processes, regulatory compliance (ISO, ISMS, GDPR) and ICT.
  • You are fluent in English, our internal and external company language.
  • You are, above all,  a coach and can lead a team of diverse specialists.
  • You can combine a hands-on operational management approach with program management competencies.
  • You are a conceptual thinker, able to define solutions with a strategic impact. You can balance strategic insights with practical implementation.
  • You can shape a new organization and structure and streamline complex operations.
  • You are a role model for high standards and continuous improvement in all areas of operation.
