About the role

 

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Partner to support our Operational BU Consulting and our Group Services BU (HR, Marketing, IT, Finance, etc.). In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted advisor and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial and operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic partnership:

    • Serve as the strategic partner for the Consulting and Group Services BUs, contributing to their financial and operational success.

    • Perform detailed variance and trend analyses to provide actionable insights, implement process improvements

  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Actively participate in budget and forecast cycles.

  3. KPI Reporting and Dashboards:

    • Continuously improve and create dashboards to monitor performance.

    • Report on critical financial and operational KPIs, ensuring stakeholders have accurate and timely information.

  4. Data Integrity:

    • Guarantee the accuracy and reliability of financial and operational data to support decision-making processes.

  5. Operational Tasks:

    • Manage operational tasks such as invoicing, project creation, and order entry validation, representing approximately 20% of your time.

  6. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the Finance Team and BU management teams to align on objectives and ensure seamless execution.

    • Report directly to the Director of Finance & Legal.

About you

Qualifications and skills:

  • Education:

    • A master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience of a minimum of 3y in a similar financial or business partner role, preferably within audit, M&A or controlling.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

    • Proficiency in ERP systems like NetSuite and tools like Anaplan are a plus.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Other:

    • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

    • You like to work in a fast-paced environment; you have a growth mindset, a positive attitude, and an outstanding work ethic.
